MaResMa in Panamá

During 21-24 th March 2017, Dr. Wangüemert taught the course “Applications of Population Genetics on Ecology and Marine Resources Management “ in the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. The course included theorical and practical classes (40 hours). Most of participants were Msc and PhD students, although some teachers from the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá attended too. It was a very nice and interesting experience to share all these hours with the 27 students. I hope to celebrate a new edition of this course next year! Also during this travel, it was possible to carry out a sea cucumber sampling campaign in Bocas del Toro, looking for the different morphotypes of Isostichopus badionotus, registering densities of Holothruia mexicana and enjoying of course, the very nice corals.

First classes with the students, remembering old concepts and doing questions.
