MaResMa at the LACQUA Congress 2017 (Mazatlán, Mexico)

Jorge Domínguez and Mercedes Wangüemert attended to LACQUA Congress (Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2017) celebrated in Mazatlán (Mexico) since 7th to 10th November 2010. We presented our work in two orel communications about IMTA with Holothuria arguinensis, Ulva lactuca and Paracentrotus lividus and genetic patterns from breeders to larvae produced under aquaculture conditions. Also, we also showed 3 posters focused on processing of H. arguinensis’ beche-de-mer, microalgae and sea urchins culture.

We met there with the researchers from CINVESTAV (Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Yucatán) working on Isostichopus badionotus culture. We interchanged very useful information and established basis for further collaborations between teams.
